About Us

Lyncrest Home Care was founded in 2007 by Judy Kushner. Since its inception, Lyncrest has helped our clients obtain quality assisted living right at home. Our caregivers are experienced, well-educated, and committed to ensuring a high-quality of life for all of our cherished clients. All of our staff must pass a rigorous background check before joining the Lyncrest Home Care team.

Judy grew up in California where she spent years observing her own mother as a private in-home nurse for an elderly couple.  Commensurate  with her own life experience and observation Judy was inspired to found Lyncrest Home Care in 2007  to service the home care needs of residents of Rockland, surrounding counties, as well as NYC and NJ. 

Judy has been very passionate about providing excellent home care services ever since. "I love being able to help care for people within their home environment.  I believe it supports vitality and allows our clientele to live with dignity and comfort, especially since studies show that the elderly retain their health better within the confines of their familiar surroundings."  

Dedication to these goals are what sets Judy and Lyncrest Home Care apart from other agencies.  Judy personally gets involved with the client from the first phone call and stays involved with every client throughout the entire time Lyncrest is providing care. "Continual contact with all of our caregivers ensures that proper care and attention is being offered to each and every one of our clients' loved ones".  In fact it is not uncommon for Judy herself to visit a client, provide transportation for caregivers, go on personal errands for a caregiver or client if the need arises and even has gone as far as personal reimbursement of caregiver expenses under certain circumstances, in order to ensure that seamless superior care is being provided.
